Here’s a piece I kinda started while working on my creative part for an application. I kinda changed my mind, but it was fun messing around with different photoshop effects. I somewhat finished it by adding in the birds today. Sun photoshopped in. Basically nothing special, but kinda cool.
Woohoo, on schedule as well! I finished Stairway to Heaven (well the editing (mainly reducing the volume of the solo =/). So the good… its done, and I got the solo down on the 14th try! The bad… I had crappy guitar cables for the first few sections I recorded and sometimes the sound breaks off, not so good FIXED LATER THOUGH =) . Also, there are a few spots in which I screw up on the time when I’m supposed to come in.
The final bad… GUITAR RIG 3 FAILED ON ME!!! The program which made some damn nice effects screwed up and I wasn’t able to use it =/
Notes: solo is quite loud… but lowered it a fair bit. I stop playing after solo because that part is just repetitive. I use a fade out effect on the last few min of the song where I do not play.
Here are a few things I made with photoshop in Communications Technology (added a watermark so no-one can copy). The first one is Mats Sundin as a Buddhist monk at some random temple I found. The sun has been photoshoped in the background. The other is a random movie poster I made for a fictional movie. Since I don’t have a certain font as the school’s computers, the title didn’t turn out that good. The smoke, face, candle, background, and thumbnails (for different movie companies) have been photoshoped in.
I’m back from an eternity of work (and some fun tournaments). Expect more music updates soon. Working on getting a new battery for my pedal so that I can record some songs. Frederick and I won the Thornhill Debate Tournament. Talha came in first place in terms of speaker scores (which is unusual… because normally the top teams have the top scores, but w/e, the tournament was unusual).
